Technical Project Manager

Description

The Integration Project Manager, part of the Integration team, is expected to manage all integration project aspects and resources in order to ensure timely and successful integration delivery as part of an overall UKG software deployment. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Develop and utilize project plans and other tools to set typical project milestones, dependencies and risk logs to set expectations with internal and external teams
Prepare assigned project resources with necessary project-related information, ensuring proper understanding of project requirements, roles & responsibilities, work processes, and success criteria.
Define the project schedule with the customer and UKG program manager (lead PM)
Lead status meetings actively tracking dependencies and ownership of tasks
Identify, manage and change order new requirements
Participate in discovery meetings through project post-mortems
Work with various team members (both UKG and customer teams) to resolve project and process issues in a timely manner and document any issues
Lead assigned projects to a successful completion within appropriate time frame
Assist with developing new processes and tools that improve the performance and effectiveness of the project management delivery
Assist with other initiatives to evaluate and drive customer satisfaction

Qualifications

8+ years of project management work experience in a software/technical environment ideally including integrations
Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, or a related technical/engineering field
Moderate to expert-level working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence preferred
Understanding and experience of the software development lifecycle
Ability to manage, collaborate and drive activities across a variety of accounts and developers
Broad knowledge of HRMS, Time & Labor management, or similar knowledge
Experience working within and indirectly managing a software implementation team
Experience managing software projects simultaneously and in parallel
Strong experience scheduling, preparing presentations and status reports
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
