TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT

Job Summary:

Ultimate Kronos Group is seeking a Pre-sales Technologist. This position is responsible for providing sales support through technical product demonstrations, knowledge transfer, documentation of best practices, participation in organizational readiness and team meetings and assisting sales team members throughout the sales cycle to secure new business for UKG.

The qualified candidate must have extensive experience working in a technical sales support role selling to enterprise software buyers or experience in a Sr. technology executive role, strong communication, technical and analytical skills and proven problem-solving experience handling complex and challenging situations in a professional, timely, and thorough manner. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a self-starter and driven to provide the highest quality of support to the sales team and external customers. The qualified candidate will also have a high level of interest in technology, enterprise software and the human capital management technology space along with extensive knowledge in cloud based software and service delivery models.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide front-line technical, product and process support for internal sales team members and external customers with a high degree of satisfaction and technical expertise

Complete technical sections of customer submitted requests for proposal

Assist in maintaining request for proposal question and response answer bank

Participate in prospective customer calls sharing information on UKG's products and technology during the sales cycle

Assist in conceptual architectural design of integrated systems including customer on-premise and/or cloud based solutions such as ERP, time & labor, planning/budgeting/forecasting, analytics, etc with the UKG suite of applications

Provide prospective customers with information about UKG's products and technologies, demonstrating how our solutions align with their business strategy and use of technology systems and architecture to achieve organizational goals

Provide technical product demonstrations and assistance to Solutions Experts in support of functional prospective customer demonstrations

Ongoing knowledge transfer, training, and support of team members

Drive process and product improvement

Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of all aspects of UKG products and services

Drive sales enablement

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Experience selling enterprise software solutions to Sr. Information Technology and executive leadership

Minimum of 2 years in a technical consulting sales or enterprise architect role, preferably in the human capital management or ERP space

Very strong presentation skills and the ability to demonstrate confidence and expertise when presenting in front of a group

Extensive knowledge of Software-as-a-Service delivery models, private and public and hybrid cloud deployments

Strong analysis, task management and time management skills

Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work autonomously

Proven leadership within a sales or IT team; ability to coach, train, mentor and lead others

Excellent consulting skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to balance multiple priorities

Proven communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the telephone, in-person and via electronic media

Experience working with Salesforce.com

UltiPro or other human capital management solution or ERP experience is a plus

Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and ETL

Familiarity with and experience demonstrating SOAP and REST API's

Understanding of authentication and authorization models

Experience working with systems deployed in a distributed framework, service oriented architecture and micro-services concepts

Knowledge of security, compliance and privacy requirements such as SOC audits, ISO certification, privacy shield and GDPR

Education/Certification/License:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge preferred

TOGAF Foundation certification a plus

Travel Requirement:

Some travel (approximately 30%)
