Associate Data Analyst

The Business Intelligence Developer resource will work in the Business Intelligence team focusing on design, development, testing, and implementation of all Microsoft BI suite. The Developer will be responsible coordinating solution delivery with Internal customer base and source application leads, as well as insuring overall data quality and efficiency associated with BI reporting solutions. This person will also be responsible coordinating production support activities as needed with IT and business stakeholders.

Meets with the product specialist to gain an understanding of any coding related maintenance issues discovered and designs a solution for the issue in accordance to the
desired application behavior
Collaborating with core services and Development Manager to define the technical design; creating detailed technical specifications; and creating high level work breakdowns
and estimates
Contributes to the technical design for development projects by reviewing and understanding the high-level functional specifications;
Serves as an internal technical resource by communicating departmental and project strategies to team members
Drives application development through Agile software development methodologies
Maintains documentation according to content and timing standards by utilizing the source control system

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  4+ years of experience managing the development of SSIS reporting, analytics, and BI solutions
  Previous experience in a BI role with strong quantitative and analytical skills and a proven track record of turning large amounts of multi-faceted data into meaningful information.
  Strong data visualization skills and experience using various visualization tools.
  Experience designing, developing and implementing and maintaining database and programs to manage data analysis efforts.
  Strong background in MS SQL Server 2012 & above development, with proficiency in Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), stored procedure development and triggers
  Experience in Tableau, Oracle 12c & above would be an added advantage.
  Advanced data analysis skills including advanced SQL query capabilities
  Deep experience in data modelling, data analysis and relational database design
  Strong capabilities in reporting solutions (SharePoint, Excel)
  Demonstrated ability to identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and Incorporate them into the project schedule

Microsoft Certified Architect: Database, MCTS in SQL Server Business Intelligence, or MCDBA desired
