Enrollment Support Analyst - Work From Home

This is a challenging role that takes an ability to thoroughly review, analyze and research complex healthcare claims in order to identify discrepancies, verify pricing, confirm prior authorizations and process them for payment. You’ll need to be comfortable navigating across various computer systems to locate critical information. Attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy which will support timely processing of the member's claim.

This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 115 West Wausau Ave Wausau WI 55401. Employees will be required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise or general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims
• Analyze and identify trends and provide reports as necessary
• Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED (or higher) OR 10+ years of equivalent working experience
• Experience with Microsoft products including Word (experience with creating and editing documents), Power Point (creating and editing presentations) and Excel (experience with formulas, editing, and reports).
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Access (create, edit, save and send database)
• 2+ years of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
• Moderate proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree (or higher) with emphasis in computer science, applied math, statistics, management information systems with 2+ years of successful work experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Reside within 75 miles of the office location: 115 West Wausau Ave. Wausau WI, 55401
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Soft Skills:

• Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
• Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
• Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
• Ability to effectively communicate, written and orally, technical information to enrollment users each day and in training sessions that they lead
• Experience in provide leadership and creativity to proactively anticipate customer needs and develop and sell solutions to problems.
• Experience with plan, organize and accomplish assignments in a timely and credible manner with minimal supervision and flexibility to meet changing priorities.
• Experience with sound analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills for resolving customer concerns, processing and workflow issues and improvements.
