Whom do we help

In Optum we solve several Healthcare problems and particularly our team is into Payment Integrity solution helping hospitals maximize net revenue by efficiently calculating underpayment and denials using the payer contract and helps in future contract negotiations. 

We help recover $200+ Million Revenue for hospitals on yearly basis and processes 40+ Million Accounts. 

Currently we are working on moving the application towards Microservices architecture and Azure to significantly improve application usage by offering as a service, increase revenue and easily scalable.

This position is located in our Chennai office.

• Full Stack Developer who can develop applications using Java and any RDBMS databases like Oracle, Postgres, etc
• Hands on experience on building, maintaining, optimizing or modernizing applications on (or to) Public Cloud, preferably Azure, show-casing event driven, elastically scalable, fault tolerant and other cloud native architecture patterns
• Participate in full product lifecycle including proof of concepts, architect, design, building pipelines, story building and demos
• Work with business, product management and senior engineering managers to clarify business requirements and provide effective technical designs aligning with industry best practices
• Provides technical mentorship and guidance to members of the engineering team

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with BE/MCA or similar qualification
• Strong experience developing full stack web applications on Java, J2EE, JSF, Spring Boot, Angular, Front end development experience is MUST
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and experience working with SQL, PL/SQL or T-SQL
• Experience in Azure application development for atleast 4 years, should have handled Azure migration project
• Experience in configuring CICD pipeline (Github, Jenkins, Docker, Sonar)
• Hands-on experience in full automated testing framework (unit & integration)
• Experience conducting design and code reviews
• Ability to expand existing knowledge to learn new technology and process
• Exposure to Microservices architecture and deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Knowledge in Python and reporting tools like MicroStrategy
