Content leads serve as on-demand experts who provide strategic guidance to health care executives spanning numerous health care topics. Content leads partner with client management and members to root-cause members' top issues and solve their most pressing problems, using Advisory Board's research and content.
Leads have an understanding of the most common challenges health care executives face and are able to provide thought partnership in answering member questions. Content leads help members navigate, understand, and maximize Advisory Board's research product and resources, with minimal travel.
Flexibility and an eye towards continuous process improvement is essential. In addition, Leads engage with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders, creating relationships with colleagues across departments, which provides Content Leads the opportunity to expand their skill set and job scope over time.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as go-to expert on topics related to their health care terrain (for example, strategy, service lines, clinical, or workforce, or new markets such as life sciences and health care industry)
- Provide on-demand expert guidance. Conduct regular conversations with executives and write best-in-class answers to top questions their terrains' health care constituents ask; The role will on occasion required to formally present content findings to organizations' executives and their teams
- Manage multiple member requests simultaneously and meet expected deadlines. Leads must have exemplary project management skills with the demonstrated ability to autonomously manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Evolve team design and processes. Leads will partner on team design and processes to build culture, maximize efficiencies, and enhance our output to members
- May manage team of content specialists. Some Leads may manage a small team of content specialists. Responsibilities include coaching, skill development, and performance management

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant post-graduate experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of post-graduate related experience
- Demonstrated experience using written and oral communication skills to explain complex concepts to varied audiences
- Experience consistently meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
- Comfortability working in an ever changing, fast paced environment
- Experience working in a team environment, as well as independently and autonomously
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts into short, engaging deliverables in an academic or professional setting
- Managing client relationships
- Demonstrated interest in health care
- Understanding of strategic and operational issues facing hospitals and health system executives
- If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree
- Demonstrated team management skills
- Experience working with clients in a consultative role
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
