Clinical Technology Solutions (CTS) is a clinically oriented health IT services group within Optum Insight. We pair technology experts, management consultants, and skilled clinical leaders together to help health systems, provider entities, and payers achieve clinical and financial return from their technology investments.
Our holistic approach to Health IT optimization includes technical solutions, stakeholder engagement and education, clinical workflow redesign, and interoperability solutions for organizations to prepare for and thrive under value-based and risk-based models by focusing on enabling interactions between: providers and their care teams, patients, and payers.
The Senior Director is responsible for forming and maintaining payer client relationships and facilitating the success of engagements, ensuring that clients generate significant value from their ongoing partnership with CTS. The Senior Director will be a member of the Practice Leadership Team and is responsible for the overall management of practice operations and oversight of teams within assigned CTS projects/engagements. Senior Directors are responsible for expanding the team’s footprint with current payer clients and will have an annual target for overall managed revenue and/or utilization and client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and strategic direction for client delivery teams, holding workstream engagement leaders accountable for performance and assisting them with complex and challenging tasks
Ensures outstanding and consistent customer service - creates and maintains relationships across a broad set of stakeholders within the payer client organization, including key operational and strategic leaders
Responsible for the integrity of operational processes, including building engagement budgets, ensuring adequate human resources, and compliance with regulatory standards
Responsible for meeting profitability targets for specific engagements, as well as pursuing and achieving performance-based targets in at-risk engagements
Responsible for program governance processes and meetings
Informs internal activities and product development activities, including identifying opportunities for service and solution enhancements
