The solution architect role entails the execution of complex projects by studying and understanding clients’ requirements, identifying gaps between clients’ requirements and DocASAP functionalities, and defining solutions to bridge the gap.
The Solution Architect's role would be to work very closely with the implementations and the Product Team and help in architecting the solution for the client implementation, identify feature gaps, work with the Product team to understand which features make sense and which should not be committed. This person needs to have very good knowledge on integration, onboarding, product capabilities, consumer side capabilities, and map it to client's requirements, and architect the best solution.
The position involves collaboration with clients, sales, product management and implementation teams. So, good communication skills are paramount in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:
Supports the sales team in presentation content, providing a SME role for sales/ AM teams
Works with sales teams in developing content for RFIs/RFPs and other client assessments as they may arise
Manages technical support activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation
Works to ensure that the project scope is maintained, and solutions implemented by adherence to the BRD, FRD and PFR processes
Work with the sales team to support progress of the sales pursuit using BRD process that leads to the implementation team creation of FRD
Render consulting and technical support services on FRD and project implementation support to the project deployment team
Facilitates weekly cross-governance “deal review” meeting where BRD, FRD and PFRs are reviewed for alignment and agreement
Champions a structured approach to business application solutions. Works to find solutions to problems where a new product feature request is considered a last resort. Understanding what the client is trying to achieve vs trying to implement what a client thinks the solution would be
Provide inputs and business justifications in support for future roadmap features that will enable sales growth and expansion in specialty areas or new segment opportunities across the continuum of care.
Liaise with clients and business representatives to understand the needs of business
Must be able to effectively communicate issues of technical nature to clients. Ability to set and meet target is also very important as most projects have limited time frame
Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution
Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution implementations
In some cases, he/she may not be the program developer but will ensure that the developer understands the business needs and works strictly in compliance with the needs of the client
Is expected to work closely with clients and business representatives to understand their business needs and design unique plans to tackle the technical needs of each client
The solution architect must also understand both the technical needs of the business and also the business needs and the overall impact of his/her solution to the profitability of the business
The solution architect identifies existing business risks related to the implementation of software design and ensures that such risks are mitigated.
Provides analysis of security protection technologies as necessary
