Optum DocASAP is the world’s most advanced, cutting edge, online patient access and booking platform that connects millions of consumers with the right providers (doctors) at the right time. Our platform is integrated with dozens of technology partners and processes millions of transactions every day. As part of our Optum’s Product Team, the Product Owner hired for this role will play a significant part in supporting delivery of strategic technology solutions. Product Owner will act as the domain specialist who will support end-to-end coordination for integration related activities and serve as the primary liaison between clients, technology partners and technical team, responsible for gathering, documenting and prioritizing business and technical requirements in support of critical business needs. This person will serve as the SME for User Acceptance Testing activities, including providing support for hands-on testing and troubleshooting when necessary and will drive findings through to satisfactory resolution.

Primary Responsibilities:
Creating solutions for the state of art data extraction and transformation services that our clients use to book online appointments
Work with major US Healthcare software applications to understand their data structure, map those to DocASAP framework, optimize the performance
Work in Agile environments employing SCRUM, Lean, and Kanban methodologies
Achieving goals in a matrixed environment and for working collaboratively and influencing others; previous successes are required with each

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience writing User Stories, Requirements, Testing and Collaborating with Development/Engineering teams
Healthcare domain experience, with Health Level Seven HL7
Experience with ETL tools, Realtime Data Injection
Experience with Electronic Health Record /Electronic Practice Management solutions like Epic, AllScript, and Cerner is a plus
Background in software development / QA testing
Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of team/organization, vendors and third parties

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
