    The Manager Replenishment Strategy will drive Replenishment strategy initiatives to develop and implement data-driven strategies for improving service levels, supply chain productivity and operational cost effectiveness.
    Initiatives will require a consultative mindset in identifying root cause issues with service level, inventory levels, and operational inefficiencies, and will require strong cross-departmental communication and collaboration capabilities. Specific departmental stakeholders will include Replenishment Leadership as well as partners within our Logistics, Category Management and Operational Excellence teams.
    In addition to leading initiatives this position will be mandated with developing improved data visibility into Replenishment performance levers including buying performance, inventory levels, etc.

    Flexible Work Policy: The Manager, Replenishment Strategy position has been segmented as Hybrid meaning the work is a combination of onsite (only 2 days per week) and virtual (3 days per week). This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Rosemont, IL.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Project manage replenishment strategy initiatives with minimal leadership support by owning project management and results tracking tasks, and ensuring that there is continuous visibility into next steps needed to drive results 

    Partner with high-end analytics and technology companies as needed to bolster Replenishment capabilities

    Understand core levers / root causes driving Replenishment performance and expand the usage of advanced analytics and automation methodologies to support improved performance visibility

    Bring a consultative lens to reviewing all existing operations and proactively develop ideas for new transformation / continuous improvement

    Monitor and reporting on Replenishment performance metrics, pointing out specific drivers of changes, areas for deep-dive analysis, and immediate change levers

    Identify opportunities to formalize new data sets that will be valuable in developing a deeper understanding into Replenishment performance

    Create communication materials (e.g., PowerPoint decks) for leadership / executive alignment meetings.  Own story-telling elements in explaining new initiatives and pushing for change.

    Present recommendations, initiative progress, and initiative results to cross-departmental leadership and executive level audiences

    SUPERVISION:
    Small team of up to 2 senior analysts. May start will no direct reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education/Training:

    Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred (Supply Chain, Strategy, or related area)
    Related Experience/Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree, (MBA Preferred)
    • 5+ years of experience in a corporate strategy or management consulting role
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access)
    • Strong experience with SQL and other data analysis tools
    • Extensive project management experience
    • Experience in implementing process automations highly preferred
    • Experience with demand planning software (e.g., Blue Yonder) a plus

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 
    • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong PowerPoint story-telling capabilities required
    • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and proactively manage through conflicts and setbacks
