    The IT Senior Business Analyst role at US Foods partners with our business to define areas of functional need and translate those needs into requirements for project execution. The primary areas of responsibility include:
    • Understand and document business requirements into agile stories
    • Translate business needs into actionable technology requirements
    • Develop and describe the business benefit
    • Create and cascade reference and training material
    • Provide functional and acceptance testing support
    • Analyze the current state and provide a gap analysis
    • Deliver sprints and product releases against business objectives, priorities, and strategy while ensuring a quality, supportable product

    Job Description

    Flexible Work Policy: The work for the Sr. Business Analyst position is completed 100% remotely anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.  This position may have the potential to travel up to 20% dependent on business needs. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilitate business stakeholders in a group setting to identify root causes for technology inefficiency and large-scale improvement opportunities.
    • Create business process documentation and drive streamlining and simplifying cross-functional documentation to make it easy to find and use.
    • Facilitate acceptance testing and production release readiness.
    • Facilitate working sessions to deliver new feature processes and workflows.
    • Use the appropriate development methodology to turn improvement opportunities into application requirements or user features. Groom multiple application backlogs.
    • Engage with business users to ensure benefits are well understood and properly documented.
    • Develop complex user and training documentation and provide train-the-trainer or direct user training as appropriate.
    • Collaborate and contribute to the Digital Roadmap.
    • Assist BRM in performing the role of liaison between the Business Project Lead and technical team for project issue resolution.
    • Provide input into and feedback on testing scripts. Facilitate and actively participate in acceptance (UAT) and production readiness testing. Analyze test results to support the resolution.
    • Translate strategic intent to specific capabilities within Digital Teams. Provide input into the area roadmaps.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Training:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

    Related Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

    Specific requirements for this department:

    • The Seller Tools product teams include product specific to our National Sales customer, including Healthcare and Hospitality. This position will be focused on those products.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong group facilitation skills.
    • Familiarity with agile project/product management concepts and tools.
    • Ability to model business processes. Familiarity with standard flowcharting tools such as Visio or Lucidchart preferred.
    • Ability to manage application/product backlogs. Familiarity with JIRA preferred.

    The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.  In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $78,700 and $105,000.  In New York City, the expected compensation for this role is between $92,800 and $123,800.
