What you’ll be doing...
Verizon is looking for a seasoned insights professional to help build a new B2B research capability within the Customer & Marketplace Insights group. Verizon is driving the fourth industrial revolution through technology and telecommunications solutions like 5G. You will be a critical member of the team, and will design and execute high-impact research that will drive new product development, marketing strategy and go-to-market tactics for Verizon’s business group product portfolio.
Apply your experience to design the correct methodology, work with our vendor partners or on your own to conduct the research, and deliver an actionable insights story to ensure that we get the best market insights to drive those business decisions.
Contribute to a culture of innovation by finding new and better ways of doing things: identifying, creating and employing innovative research and operational approaches.
Design research programs, both qualitative and quantitative, to address business needs.
Conduct mixed-methods of qualitative research methods (e.g., ethnography, focus groups, diary studies).
Synthesize data from multiple sources and translating findings into actionable customer insights and recommendations.
Bring strong business acumen to research insights to translate findings to business success.
What we’re looking for...
You are a self-starter with strong stakeholder management skills. You will have demonstrated effective consultative skills and previous research expertise with marketing, product and audience research experience.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Six or more years of B2B or B2B2C market research experience.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
Analyzed data from multiple sources, and provided insights and recommendations tailored to different functions and levels.
Project management skills-ability to prioritize among multiple parts of the business and projects.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, G Suite, SPSS).
Formal moderation certificate or training (e.g., RIVA, Burke Institute).
Three or more years of qualitative moderation experience.
Marketing or Market Research Master’s degree.
