Principal Network Engineer - Regulatory and Real Estate

What you’ll be doing...

Point of contact and point of escalation for 5G & 4G Small Cells with jurisdictions and utility providers across the Central Texas Footprint

• Negotiate small cell designs for collocations on utility poles, streetlight replacement solutions and new pole plants
• Negotiate MLA agreements where required
• Create deployment strategy for each jurisdiction and utility entity as it relates to permit application submission to help mitigate expired permits
• Attend Site Acq calls to help troubleshoot, provide guidance, and ensure that the deployment strategy is being executed
• Interface with jurisdiction regarding any constituent complaints and work with COMET SME to ensure that constituent complaints are mitigated
• Interface with Legal and SGA as needed when escalations and/or contracts are required
• Prepare and present any and all presentation material as needed for jurisdictional interface.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years or relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
• A valid driver's license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of organization of work.
• Real estate experience.
• Experience negotiating contracts.
