To strengthen our WITEC team in Bengaluru, we are now looking for – Architect – Embedded Software Development

Role Summary & Essential responsibilities: 

The Embedded Software Architect is responsible for the software design/implementation phase by performing the following activities: requirement analysis, implementation & tests.

In this role, Embedded Software Architect, shall utilize his/her experience and expertise to:

• Design and develop software architectures and source code for the Linux embedded system for passenger information systems
• Coordination of software interface alignments and engage standardizations with software developers, software integrators, method experts and customers
• Responsible for the technical leadership of a software team
• Mentoring less experience engineers
• Creating requirements documents.

Qualification / Requirement:

• Bachelor / master’s in engineering in Computer Science/Electronics engineering
• 9 to 13 years of hands-on experience in complex embedded real-time software design and development

Essential/Desired Characteristics:

Knowledge in computer development:

• Deep understanding of software architecture using UML standards
• Very good knowledge in C++ as well as very good knowledge in object-oriented programming
• Very good knowledge of Linux systems
• Deep knowledge in embedded programming C++ for Linux. Experience with Yocto-based systems is a plus
• Clear understanding on driver, hardware abstraction layers, middleware and application software for power electronics
• Good analytic skills, goal- and solution-oriented and good ability to make decisions
• A very strong ability to communicate and work in a team
• Excellent knowledge of English
