  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  ●            Assemble, test and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes

  ●            Work with electrical and mechanical equipment

  ●            Disassemble, trouble shoot, repair and reassemble equipment that does not pass test

  ●            Maintain assembly and test equipment as required        

  ●            Move material to and from workstation by hand, cart and crane as required

  ●            Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping

  QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Three years prior manufacturing assembly experience
  • Ability to plan work procedures, determine tooling and operation sequence, etc., in order to establish the most efficient manner of utilizing materials and equipment
  • Ability to work in conformance with engineering and quality specifications and lean manufacturing principles

  EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                                                     

  High school or equivalent

  ​

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to Lift 30 Lbs.
  • Ability to Perform Work, While Frequently Standing.

  Working Environment/Environmental Hazards:

  • Industrial Setting w/ the Presence of Noise, Chemicals, Lubricants and Other Process Inputs.
  • Overhead Lifting Devices.
  • Heavy Equipment, Inclusive of Presses & Forklifts.
  • Climate Controlled.

  JOB TITLE: Assembly Technician

  WORKING HOURS: 5am to 3:30PM M-T with OT on Friday as needed

  PAY RATE: $15

  ASSIGNMENT DURATION: the duration is temp to hire depending on performance and attendance
