• Summary: This position will be working hands-on within an Azure ALZ technical domain as an expert and/or internal consultant. You will work within a multi-cloud infrastructure environment on highly complex projects, as a key member of the Infrastructure Cloud team across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities: 

In this role, you will:

• Analyze, and develops an implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
• Review architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio and/or team
• Contribute to the development of software, data, and technology
• Contribute to the designs and deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different businesses
• Participate in the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support actives
• Mentor the other engineers on Azure environment, and IaC

Eligibility Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or "STEM" majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or 2+ years of Azure enterprise build experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure architecture or relevant discipline
• Direct experience with administration, building, and/or supporting Microsoft Azure
• English mandatory and French is nice to have

Technical Expertise:

• Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
• Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud)
• Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, microservice frameworks etc.
• Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and IaC technologies)
• Familiar with language programming
• Capacity to align architectural requirements with software development strategy
• Microsoft Azure certifications or several years of experience in Azure
• CICD pipelines and automation to deploy code changes to infrastructure
• Ability to drive standards and tools across existing environment, communication, advocacy, encouraging adoption
• Strong understanding of least privilege access model
• Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform or ARM), managing infrastructure with code and version roll outs across multiple lifecycle stages
• Git code management, repositories, projects, branches, commits, merge requests, approvals
• AD group automation and integration with cloud services
• Management of AD policies, groups and users for a secure multi-subscription Azure environment
• Implement policies across Azure to control resources and services to type and geo-locations
• Strong understanding of network concepts: routing, name services, security groups, ports and protocols
• Works well in a dynamic a team environment
