Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale. This position will be working hands-on within the cloud technical domain. You will work within a multi-cloud infrastructure environment on highly complex projects, as a key member of the Platform team across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze cloud spend trends, identify opportunities for savings, and offer advisory services with specific cost optimization recommendations

• Track key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate cost allocations and budgeting

• Design and implement automated capabilities to track cost trends, anomalies, and waste

• Partner with distributed teams and influence strategy, tactics, and execution of cloud usage

• Complete analysis of reservation purchases for AWS services such as EC2 and RDS

• Conduct architectural reviews to ensure cost optimization is incorporated into designs

• Stay up to date with the latest developments in AWS and cloud computing

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or "STEM" majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or 3+ years of AWS enterprise build experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure architecture or relevant discipline
• Direct experience with administration, building, and/or supporting AWS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Deep understanding of cloud-based services usage and pricing; AWS and/or Azure
• Enterprise-scale experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
• Broad hands-on experience across AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), version control systems (Git), and CICD pipelines (GitLab) for full lifecycle management of AWS infrastructure & guardrails.
• Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud
• Challenges conventional thinking and traditional ways of operating and invites stakeholders to identify issues and opportunities

• Requires sitting or standing in cubical and meeting rooms
• Employee is regularly required to look at computer screen

Work Environment:

• The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. Any disagreeable conditions are generally absent
