The Marine, Stationary, and Drill Compliance Engineer will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining required Emissions and Classification Society certifications and type approvals for marine engines, stationary engines and drill motors.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• At least five (5) years of experience in a project-based engineering position
• Willingness and ability to travel 15% of the time

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Serve as a Wabtec point of contact and interface with the US EPA and various Classification Societies and Certification Bodies for which Wabtec maintains engine and drill motor product certifications and type approvals.
• Obtain, maintain and update certifications and type approvals for products to support current and projected business needs.
• Provide new and updated product requirements and guidance to Wabtec Commercial, Technology, Production and Sourcing teams during project proposal and development phases as well as throughout the life of the product.
• Internally monitor Wabtec’s adherence to Certification Body and Classification Society product and process requirements.
• Maintain required records relative to emissions and Classification Society approvals.
