To provide Oracle Transactional Support for Quotes and Order Entry team as well as Order Management and Expediting aftermarket sales opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Serve as the entry point for customer inquiries that are not covered by Customer Experience Leaders.
  • Responsible for responding to and documenting spot quotations via Oracle
    • Responses may be required to be provided to internal resources or directly to customers
  • Responsible for manual entry of orders received via email, fax or phone
    • Entry may be required in either Oracle - "Edison" or Oracle - "Westinghouse" instances
  • Responsible for providing accurate Sales Order Acknowledgements directly as appropriate and order status updates as required.
  • Provide support for Warranty orders, Shipping discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage flow and program orders for delivery as per contract terms and purchase order commitments.
  • Escalate OOS/EMG & business critical items per Customer & Account Mgr request.
  • Liaise with Customer Experience Leaders (CXL), Supply Chain, and Planning business counterparts to ensure On Time Parts Delivery.
  • Assist as necessary on Accounts Receivable collection escalations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • To comply with Wabtec Corporate & local Environment, Health & Safety requirements at all times.
  • Professionally represent Wabtec at all times, but especially during all customer communications.
  • Onsite support at Customer HQ as required.
  • Actively contribute to all continuous process improvement efforts within the Customer Service COE.
  • Document retention consistent with Wabtec Corporate policy.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of professional work experience, Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of Customer Service
  • Experience with large ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Experience providing Customer Service.
  • Experience with expediting spare parts for an industrial business.
  • Knowledge of supply chain businesses processes.
  • Computer and typing proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency)
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Accustomed to working under pressure, dealing with conflicting demands.
  • Willingness to undertake the varying day to day responsibilities of this position and keen to adopt new challenges.
