Summary
The Engineering manager will be primarily responsible for actively driving and managing the technology development, evaluation, and application stage on all new products. Working in conjunction with the Core Design team as a technical touchpoint and product advocate, the Engineering Manager must be able to comprehend and support throughout the stages of development of new products to suite complete customer requirement. The Engineering Manager must be able to establish and maintain strong relationship/ rapport with potential and actual customers.

Air brake Components (Reservoirs, Valves, Cocks, Fittings, Air Hoses & Couplings)
Technical:
< >Maintain expert level of product knowledge from design through application. Assumes the primary technical relationship touchpoint with the https://customer.Provides technical input to product feature enhancements and process https://improvements.Supports engineering in translating customer's needs into manufacturable https://products.Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Provide design and specification development support to integrators and end users. Respond to functional and technical elements of https://RFQs.Assist in the design and development of new products. Engineering support to the site team in product stabilization and reliability growth. Work closely with RAMS team to establish KPIs for product/system performance.
Administrative:
< >Maintain professional business relationships within target accounts. Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future https://growth.Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements (Voice of Customer).Perform technical/ product training for Field service engineers and customer at targeted sheds. Drive timely resolution of customer issues by liaising with Field services and Quality teams in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives. Assist in development of test facility/ rigs, diagnostic and maintenance tools. Support in product validation.
Qualifications
Required:
< >Bachelor’s / Master’s in mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering Experience 12-15 Years in Freight domain Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Working experience in CATIA and AutoCAD Read Pneumatic and Electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical control https://systems.Good project Management skills
