Title: Enterprise Application Engineer – ECAD/PLM Band: J Grade: 9 Overview: Enterprise Application Engineer – ECAD/PLM would be primarily responsible for Development, Customization, Deployment and support of Electrical CAD/Custom Tools/PLM and other Integration tools. This position will also be responsible for installation and end user support of ECAD/PLM applications for Engineering & Technology team. ECAD Infrastructure systems includes Windows Server, High end Workstations/Laptops and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). ECAD/PLM Applications includes AutoCAD, Zuken, NX and Integration with Teamcenter PLM Tools. Essential Responsibilities: • Responsible for development, customization and support of Electrical CAD, PLM & Custom applications • Design, implementation, and developer testing of CAD/PLM applications as per standards • Engage with electrical engineering to investigate and resolve problems with existing ECAD Tools • Coordinate with Functional team and work with project team to execute projects on time • Installation of new software and perform maintenance programming for existing version as well as updates for future releases • Provide Level 1 & 2 Technical support to a wide range of Electrical CAD, PLM & Engineering Software Tools • Troubleshoot ECAD/PLM applications operational problems quickly and effectively to meet business needs • Ensure Incidents and problem tickets issued against supported CIs get resolved as per OLA/SLA • Ensure adherence to SDLC, IT security policies and procedures • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement the solutions by proactively learning new tools • Engage with customer to understand their business use case and the issues that impact them mostly Eligibility Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering • 3-5 years of relevant experience working with CAD/PLM tools like AutoCAD-Electrical, Zuken, NX, Teamcenter etc. • Good programming skills at least one major development language like C, C++ or Java • Knowledge of Electrical Schematic design and selection of Electrical components is a plus • Programming experience with using APIs for CAD systems including AutoCAD or NX • Strong knowledge on ITIL framework and follow Incident/Change/Problem management practices Desired Characteristics: • Highly self-motivated, disciplined and good team player • Ability to drive results in a dynamic and challenging environment • Self-reliant, goal-oriented, flexible and constant willingness to learn • Open to new ideas and capability to find solutions independently • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong interpersonal and Influencing skills • Excellent verbal & written communication skill
