The Governance Specialist will lead and oversee the enterprise governance framework for the global corporation.  The role will ensure all application development and configuration changes strictly adhere to best practices for on premise and cloud applications.   The Governance Specialist will provide support for the company’s primary ERP application as well as all secondary ERPs in our global environment.   The position will research all new technologies introduced into the application and will update the framework accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• ERP governance for the Oracle ERP instances
• Lead weekly requirements meeting to review and disposition new ERP requests
• Lead requirements review process to have project teams explain their request to ERP SMEs
• Lead weekly toll gate call to explore the status of the request and review the detailed requirements pending SME approval
• Partner with Governance owner to execute and support SOX-compliant processes
• Train or guide project teams through the ERP governance processes/approvals
• Maintain training documents for the ERP governance process
• Assist with the maintenance of the governance application used to process the ERP requests
• Review code migration requests to ensure compliance to process
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or country equivalent or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ERP development

• Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, and compile and present information clearly.

• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
