The Position

This intern/co-op position provides hands on experience working on a real-world project for a multinational/multibillion dollar corporation. You will gain high levels of visibility to company leaders and work on critical projects that drive true value for our business. What You’ll Do

The eServices/Bill of Materials Project (known internally as sBoM) is critical to the value chain that we provide to our customers. This application and process drive the delivery of an accurate parts catalog to our field services locations – allowing for error free materials delivery.

This dynamic and fast-paced position will be primarily responsible for:

  • Reviewing locomotive asset information in internal databases and making corrections when needed

  • Confirming correct locomotive assets are requested

  • Helping maintain Tier 3 and Tier 4 locomotive maintenance lists

  • Entering team center information

  • Tracking parts that affect sBOM and service part creation requests

  • Repairing and fixing the manual links in work scope tasks

  • Identifying and eliminating duplicate tasks that exist in the applications


  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and a working knowledge of Access
  • Engineering or technical educational discipline is preferred
  • Prior internship with Wabtec would be a plus, but is not required
  • Team Center knowledge also a plus, but is not required
