Roles & responsibilities:
• Manage relationship with JV shareholders and all Directors on regular basis. Ensure Board, Shareholder meetings are organized, recorded & all regulatory compliances are completed within defined timelines.
• Compliance with company secretarial responsibility as per Companies Act and Secretarial standards.
• Manage overall process for monthly US GAAP Closing driving accuracy and completeness of financials. Work with finance managers to perform analytical reviews. Perform all account reconciliations
• Manage Quarterly stat financials and get it audited on quarterly basis within defined timelines for filing with JV partners.
• Lead Internal, statutory , Tax & Cost audits of entities and ensure timely and accurate stat financials. Support Transfer Pricing study, Tax computation & filings and Tax assessments
• Partner finance managers in driving accuracy & completeness of financials and enhancements in operational accounting area and drive controllership reviews.
• Regular interactions with representatives of JV shareholder, ensure compliance with terms of JV agreement and provide required information within defined timelines.
• Drive accuracy and adherence to corporate standards and policies. Manage Compliance metrics, Indian Stat to US GAAP accounting & reconciliations etc. Manage Quarterly closings, reporting and other regulatory filings
• Maintain projected Stat financial & related models and coordinate with tax & finance managers to account for possible scenarios
• Develop policies & procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls. Maintain SOX documentation and work with Operations/business teams & auditors to get SOX & ICFR testing completed.
• Lead Record to Report team and ensure timely capitalization, accurate Fixed Assets Registers, Inter-co billing and settlement of transactions, maintain Accounts Receivable and maintain accuracy of General Ledgers
• Manage process for Cost allocations between group companies in consultation with finance managers, tax & HR.
• Drive projects for simplification & standardization of Systems, Processes and support financial accounting processes for merger & acquisitions and rationalization of entity structures
• Ensures integrity of financial systems, general ledgers and sub-ledgers and identify system enhancements to maximize productivity and reduce operating costs
• Lead, coach & mentor diverse team to leverage maximum contribution
Requirements:
• Educational Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (Required); Company Secretary (Desired)
• Qualified professional with 8 to 10 years experience of Controllership & Accounting including in Multi-national corporations
• Sound financial management and accounting treatment application, established strong analytical ability, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in an open environment and embrace change, and work with cross functional teams
• Experience of working in Oracle or any other integrated ERP
