Exposure to Operations and SCM
- To verify business processes used by organization are optimized for better growth and Business process upgradation
- Accountable for getting best in class business practices in the areas of supply chain operations.
- Configure supply chain systems to work in tandem with operations to ensure peak efficiency
ERP
- Consulting with business units to determine ERP requirements
- Create detailed functional design, process flows, build solution and design user-friendly interfaces
- Provide necessary support to Operations department during actual customization
- Perform end-to-end system testing to validate system configuration
- Install and integrate ERP software/apps
- Creating training processes and documentation to teach others how to use new systems.
Leadership qualities
- Taking over the solution leadership from implementation partners. Ensuring our implementation partners are delivering best solution to the business.
- Provide daily system support by performing root cause analysis for system issues
- Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement within a supply chain
Collaborative approach
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive system/solution/technical architecture
- Communicate with clients to understand business requirements and perform network analysis
- Utilize industry expertise to assist clients in selecting the perfect supply chain software
Project Management
- Ensure assignments are completed within the agreed timelines and budget
- Planning new systems that address any issues with the current systems.
- Keep track of timelines and scope and resolve conflicts between business and technology teams by communication and guidance and avoid any deviations
- Streamline operations by collaborating with cross-functional teams
Education / Skills:
- Full Time Engineering Degree in any discipline (preferably Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electrical from reputed Institute
- Optional (added advantage): MBA in Supply Chain Mgmt from reputed B school
- Optional (added advantage) APICS training or equivalent
- Demonstrated skills on ERP Oracle, MPS, MRP, MTS and MTO strategies
- Hands on experience in ERP & Excel Macro skills
- Analytic & synthesis skill
- Communication skills with site multiple departments
- Problem Solving skills (RCA, 8D, PDCA, …)
- Organizational & time management skills to maintain on time analysis and reports
Professional Experience
- 15+ years of relevant experience in ERP implementation
- An analytical thinker with a desire to understand all aspects of Supply Chain Operations
- 5+ years of leadership experience as a direct manager
- Strong project management skills, including relevant industry-standard certifications
- Strong skills on Budgeting and forecasting
- Solid experience of working in multi-functional teams and large-scale projects encompassing multiple enterprise applications/systems
- Appreciate teamwork and enjoy working with others at all levels of the organization
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Strong emotional intelligence and relationship building ability
- Solid communication, presentation, facilitation, and discussion skills
- Highly organized and able to remain flexible to the changing business needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly data-driven and process orientated
- Self-motivated/ Go getter/ Self Driven/ Needs minimum supervision
- Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
