Job Description:

Responsible for leading team that oversees all aspects of manufacturing processes to support site mission to safely delivery good parts on time. This is an important leadership role responsible for establishing and optimizing manufacturing processes in assembly and machining environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead lean transformation activities to develop or improve product flow.
  • Champion customer focused work environment.
  • Define and maintain manufacturing Bills of Materials and Oracle product routes.
  • Create and update Product Failure Mode and Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate process risk.
  • Implement and monitor TPM to optimize machine up-time.
  • Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
  • Develop and maintain solutions to improve process safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Develop and maintain capital expenditure process for site.
  • Identify and implement new technologies.
  • Identify need for, creation, and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions.
  • Develop employee training plans.
  • Maintain compliance to standards for special processes: Brazing, Crimping, Painting, Torque, and Welding.
  • Develop and present key performance measures for areas of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

10 Years working experience in Mechanical Assembly, Machining, and Welding.  Familiar with quality system ISO 9000, Kaizen, lean, 5S, QRQC, etc. Strong sense of responsibility, honest, be able to work independent, highly motivated, team spirit and hard working.  At least 8 years working experience.

  • Working knowledge of methodical problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good oral & written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of process & quality improvement
  • Advanced experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Experienced in project management
  • Demonstrated financial acumen
  • 5 years’ experience in previous leadership role
  • BS in any Engineering Discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS D1.1 and IPC620 experience
  • Six-Sigma or Shannin Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead lean transformation through use of industry recognized tools
  • Product run-off or new equipment validation (including Gage R&R studies)
  • Electrical Assembly experience
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic and Hydraulic Assembly experience
