Job Description

We are currently looking for a Project Manager who will directly report to the Sr. Manager of Program Management for Wayside Monitoring. 

The role will encompass the successful delivery of Wayside Monitoring products within Europe.

Your future Essential Responsibilities will be to :

  • Develop and implement project plan, monitor progress in respect of time, costs, and quality.
  • Interface with client/s and contractor/s.
  • Control and optimize the allocation of human and physical resources on the project.
  • Manage risks (including issues and opportunities), scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the project's life.
  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required.
  • Identify potential safety, cost, time, scope, quality, and procurement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Management of requirements and deliverables.
  • Report on project progress as required.
  • Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matches stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure lessons learned are collected.
  • The Project Manager works closely with client/s and contractor/s as well as functional managers, the PMO, and the project team.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent from an accredited university or college, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in program/project management in the industry.
  • Strong project management skills and experience. PMP, ScrumMaster, or related Project Management certification are real advantage
  • You have proven track record managing complex projects, typically worth $1-5M with demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects, juggling competing priorities, and meeting exacting deadlines
  • You are able and willing to travel to customer sites/meetings
  • You have good knowledg on MS Office suite of products such as Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • You have an excellent client relationship management skills, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to different audiences and bring the message across concisely and professionally.
  • You have also strong analytical and problem-solving skills -communicates clearly and succinctly and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, and creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
  • You are experience scoping and estimating project effort, documenting solutions, and presenting the content to customers, as well as a sound understanding of project control KPIs.
  • 30%-40% travel required, primarily international travel.
