Essential Responsibilities :

• Key point of Contact for Indian Railways for delivery of 4500 HP and 6000 HP Locomotives

• Lead the customer relationship with Chief Administrative Officer Office to ensure process is set up for smooth delivery and cash collection process

• Responsible for scheduling and organizing the pre-delivery customer inspection of locos prior to contractual hand over

• Liaising with Senior Leaders in Manufacturing team (in Marhowra) to conduct the predelivery inspection, smoothly

• Sign-off on punch-list generated during pre-delivery inspection by customer (if any) 

• Follow through with Manufacturing team to ensure items in the punch-list are closed, as per contract terms

• Generate Sales order in Oracle and responsible for other GLO tasks pertaining to loco sale in Oracle

• Coordinate with Engg., Manufacturing, Sourcing, SQE, Quality teams globally, to collate all supporting documentation for loco sale invoice submittal, as per contract, (except financial related docs)

• Work closely with OTR-Finance

• Provide loco sale invoice support docs to OTR-Finance ensuring smooth process for invoice generation, invoice submittal 

• Support OTR-Finance in collections of payments from customer

• Raise PRs for GLO purchase items pertaining to mods and commissioning of locos (direct and indirect material and services purchase)

• Track and follow through on mod kit material deliveries from Erie/USA to sites where required in India (Mundra, Roza, Marhowra) working closely with Logistics, Customs and Material Planning teams

• Track and manage the product change requests – cut-in and field trials coordinating between Engg., Manufacturing and Services teams

Qualifications/Requirements :

• About 10-12+ years professional work experience
• Preferred mechanical or electrical engineering graduate
• Past experience in diesel locomotive or automobile manufacturing, servicing (maintenance) , preferred
• Knowledge / exposure to Oracle /SAP ERP systems, preferred
• Knowledge of dealing with BOM, parts
• Past experience of dealing with customers for OEM product deliveries, preferred
• Proficient in MS-Excel
• Systematic in approach, attention to detail
• Team player
