Responsibilities:

• Gather knowledge of the worldwide supply chain, market for related Commodity.

• Qualitatively compare suppliers across different geographies, scale, and operational/ manufacturing complexity levels.

• Identify potential hidden costs and weigh risks.

• Participates in the supplier qualification process, which includes development and execution of documents, develop selection criteria and drive selection of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Support all outsourced product categories and work closely to investigate and further leverage supplier partners.

-Ensure deployment of standard tools, methodology and sourcing governance: Sourcing committee, supplier selection sheet, e-RFQ, standard BOM follow up…
-Define and allocated the required sourcing resources to projects
-Guarantee split of activities, roles and responsibilities according to Transit Sourcing guidelines

-Lead annual performance review of project buyers and site sourcing specialist, hire and train team according to Transit guidelines

-Guarantee supplier QCD performance in projects executed in his / her site

-Arbitrate on tenders, supporting PL Sourcing Leader: price to quotes vs. standard costs；

-Validate supplier selections done by project buyers

-Arbitrate sourcing decisions on contract margin improvement: R&O follow-up, resourcing in projects

-Participate in critical project reviews for the site；

-Guarantee supplier QCD performance for the site

• Represent Sourcing in site governance and processes: QRQC, SnOP, inventory

-Manage Resourcing hot issues, quality issues – urging regional commodity team and / or regional SQ-  lead Site Supplier cross functional review

-Provide site inputs for commodity strategy and action plan

-Monitor Direct Material variances to inform finance and bid teams

-Participate in site audits (ISO Audits, Certifications)

-Contribute to site budget, KPI follow-up and monthly reporting

-Process price change request forms for Datamart modifications

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree, fluent English for both oral and written. German is a plus

2. 8 years sourcing and procurement experience (sourcing and/or project sourcing) for a multi-national & industrial company, ideally with related Commodity industry knowledge and management experience.

3.Experience with Electronic component inclusive LED, LCD; mechanical parts sourcing

4.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite & ERP tool (SAP is a plus)
