Quality Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming material and internally produced items and document those inspections.
• Issue nonconforming material reports and corrective actions.
• Perform containment activity related to defective material.
• Communicate with shop floor personnel to identify product and process problems and implement solutions.
• Serve as auditor for internal audit and process audit.
• Collect and calibrate gauges.
• Perform other QA departmental activities as needed.

Education/Training

• Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, Quality or other technical role.

Qualifications/Experience

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally.
•  Good interpersonal skills with all levels of employees and ability to work with various departments throughout the organization.
• Experience using measurement devices and gauges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software – Word and Excel.
