ANNAX, part of Wabtec Corporation, provides passenger information systems for long- and short distance trains, trams, and subways. ANNAX develops turnkey solutions including features like public and automatic announcements, travel information, infotainment, passenger emergency calls, video surveillance, operator and conductor control interfaces, seat reservation, passenger counting and fleet management. ANNAX has sites in Germany, Switzerland, and China, but our passenger information systems can be found all over the world.

To support our Team in Brunnthal-Munich, we are looking for a Sales Manager (d/f/m).

The position of the Sales Manager is responsible for Sales and Commercial activities for the Product Line Information & Safety (I&S) and will cover the following main tasks:

  • Provide full sales interface to attributed Customers within the assigned part of the Product Line
  • Responsible for order intake and margin within the Product Line
  • Promote product portfolio to Customers within defined scope/ customer and responsibility through visits, regular communication, or exhibitions in order to develop Product Line Market Shares
  • Support and initiate business development of new product families
  • Set-up all necessary relations/networks to develop Product Line I&S and Commercial Activities
  • Manage Tender from Request for Quotation up to contract award and signature in liaison with Technical and Project Management Departments
  • Monitor and perform commercial watch to the competition on market and support value analysis.
  • Participate to Budget and 5 years Business Plan on yearly basis
  • Register, update and maintain all opportunities and tenders in CRM to assure reliable data for S&OP and reporting
  • Report periodically the commercial action plan (CAP)
  • Conduct product and application training internally and externally
  • Support sales activities and synergies in other segments of Wabtec
  • Support Business Development and Product R&D
  • Develop into a Leadership role within the next 2 years and take over wider responsibility as Head of Sales

Qualification:

  • Study in the field of electrotechnical direction or equivalent vocational training with further education desirable
  • Experience in Project Management, sales or other customer-interface roles
  • Excellent German and English language skills, other languages are an advantage
