Transit segment in Wabtec Corporation is built up of 3 Divisions: EC&A (Energy, Comfort & Access), Brakes & Safety & Transit Services.

EC&A Division products are mainly train doors, metro station doors, bus equipment’s, passengers/security information management, air conditioning & pantographs amongst others.

The position will be based out of Gennevilliers, Paris i.e., Transit HQ. The position will report to the EC&A CFO and will collaborate closely with several other business partners.

Your futur Key Responsibilities will be to :

  • Prepare the variance analysis and summary of actual results for the month/quarter and addressed to the Division CFO and Division President and ultimately to Transit management.
  • Manager the monthly analysis and summary of forecast addressed to the Division CFO and Division President and ultimately to Transit management.
  • Maintain an active participation to the Closing and Forecasting reviews as business partner, supporting the Division CFO in challenging and driving the Business results in terms of Sales, Operating Margin, EBIT and Cash.
  • Be the Key stakeholder in preparing, reviewing and finalizing annual budget exercise and also the long term strategic plan.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis (bridges, deep dives, provisions analysis, etc.) as required by EC&A/Transit/Corporate management.
  • Provide support to the sites for continuous improvement initiatives, including « Accelerate », policies and processes harmonization.
  • Ensure compliance with Wabtec policies on project accounting and follow up of S&O requirement as required.
  • Manage a permanent link between Corporate, Transit and the sites, helping in understanding guidelines and target.
  • Participate to Project Reviews for critical Projects and CMIP follow up.
  • Support to HR/IT/Transit Division in Costs follow up and gap analysis vs Budget.

Desired Qualifications and skills :

  • Graduated from a business school (Master 2) or Engineering school, you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions, in international environment/multinational companies
  • You have a full proficiency in Professional English level
  • You have good knowmedges in reporting tools knowledge (Hyperion will be a good value) and very strong analytical skills
  • To have a proven experience in long-term projects accounting is a must.
  • You have advanced excel skills
  • Also, you must equally demonstrate resistance to stress, accuracy and rigor, team spirit and influential skills
  • You are known for your teamwork and good communication skills
