Summary:

Wabtec is looking for Digital Workplace Manager to join our Global IT Technology Services team. The Digital Workplace Manager will be responsible for strategy, direction, execution, and support of Wabtec’s entire M365 suite including M365/O365 tools of SharePoint, One Drive, Online Exchange & Power platform. The Digital Workplace Manager will work closely with Microsoft and partner vendors managing Wabtec’s global MS Licensing Enterprise Agreement and Unified Support services. Candidate will work closely with business and various IT teams for work related to Business Merger & Acquisition, IT Security & Compliance, refine Digital Workplace Operations & enhance/optimize End User Experience by providing self-service options through automation. Candidate will be required to strengthen Digital Workplace governance process and deliver Technology Services Projects and Operations within budgets established at initiation. Candidate will also provide technical and architectural leadership to the team.

We would like to hire a professional with a track record of continuous improvement and delivering impactful IT change, projects. An ideal candidate will have diverse 15+ years including Leadership and People Management experience as the employee will be required to build/grow a team, use existing resources and source externally if needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the direction on overall strategy of entire M365 suite including short- and long-term roadmap
  • Participate in the management of the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and Unified Support Contract
  • Optimize the license usage by developing dashboards and build automated process around allocation and decommission of licenses
  • Build and manage a standard governance process for Digital Workplace team
  • Lead Merger & Acquisition projects ensuring migration of data, tools and apps
  • Champion end user education, learning and communication on the M365 available tools and resources
  • Manage Vendor relationship and develop regular rhythm and identify KPI’s and reporting
  • Always look out for opportunities to optimize cost and enhance end user experience
  • Identify gaps and remediation plan by undertaking Workshops, Heath Assessments, Audits of platform, Configuration and Policy Audit along with permissions
  • Follows the Project, Change and Process management disciplines and stive for continuous improvement in Wabtec global end user experience and device management.
  • Demonstrate clarity in thought in IT impacted discussions involving new or evolving business needs for tech
  • Develop standard ad-hoc reports and analysis to support decision making
  • Roll out global projects, policies, and process. Perform Proof of Concept activities
  • Monitor emerging technology trends within assigned product / technology areas to make recommendation
  • Work with development and support teams. Participate in subject matter guidance / troubleshooting for escalated support tickets and application issues
  • Ensure timely delivery of all Requests and projects
  • Follow Project management practices, develop and maintain SOP’s and KB Articles
  • Manage Incident, Request and Demand Operations on agreed SLA
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Managing staff of 5+ employees of Developer / Administrator/ Project Manager
    • Monitoring & reviewing work of staff members, including conducting annual performance reviews
    • Ensuring staff compliance with all company policies
    • Participate in hiring and recruitment efforts including interview of employees
    • Induction, Training, and continuous mentoring of team
  • Any other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering, related programs, or equivalent experience.
    • Min 15 years of total IT experience including Leadership, People, Project and Product management
    • Knowledge of M365 tools like SharePoint, One Drive, Power platform
    • Project Management experience of 3 to 5 years
    • People management experience of 2 to 3 years
    • Experience in implementing new tech solutions, integrations, and migration of apps
    • Preferred ITIL, PMP and MS certification
    • Actively seeks next-gen certifications/knowledge pertinent to the role

  • Experience on Microsoft products and services. Demonstrate exposure in field of Enterprise Licensing

  • Serve as Trainer/Mentor to team. Ability to grow talent of team
