Role Summary:

This role is expected to demonstrate accountability for IT systems & process in following locations of Wabtec India. (Gurgaon, Pune, Rohtak, Kolkata Baddi, Roza, Gandhidham and Marhowrah This role will provide leadership and  integrate different IT site teams. 

Primary Purpose:

Serve as IT point of contact for all business operations, manage systems compliance & provide governance for processes, cybersecurity and risks in partnership with security and other IT teams

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication with finance and other cross functional teams to define systems requirements, IT blueprint & budgets

• Join staff & operations reviews

• Responsible for the IT infrastructure standards, audits

• Ensure that a FMEA analysis is conducted on any IT issues that arise and responsible for the identifications of the root cause and accountable for the development of clear action plans and managing the risks/mitigation plan

• Motivate team by creating a sense of purpose to meet the goals of the business through coaching and leading by example

• Ensure that team members have well defined training and development plans

Educational Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering

• Ability to support multiple teams and work with virtual teams in strong matrix environment, with or without direct reports

• At least 3 years of experience in business planning, resource allocation, or the project management of implementing information technologies

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging across multiple teams

• Quality and cost driven

• Ability to select, evaluate, provide feedback, develop and assign employees

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure planning, budgeting & execution

• Experience in auditing internal controls and evaluating internal control deficiencies

• Motivation to provide excellent internal and external customer service
