We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)!

Mission

You will manage the internal and external projects, ensuring Customer satisfaction, interfacing external and internal Stakeholders, reporting the status of the project to the Sponsor.

The Project Manager is responsible for implementing and managing effective controls throughout the lifecycle of the project and motivates the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Location: Based ideally in Schüttorf (GERMANY), different locations may be an option as well as remote work

Scope:

  • Review the scope of projects assigned in collaboration with the Sales Team, including Contract review and kick off – Meeting
  • Create detailed Project plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project (e.g. MSP), taking into account dependencies and resources requirement.
  • Ensure excellent internal relationship with all project team members, managing Stakeholders considering their level of influence and interest
  • Monitor and report project progress to all stakeholders, with particular emphasis on actual and potential variations to cost, time or quality.
  • Deploy, maintain and align the Quality Management Process for project Activities (Project Gate review....)
  • Follow the objectives and measures (KPI’s) upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion (QCDP).
  • Identify and monitor project risks, threats and opportunities), as well as the Contract margin Improvement Plan; implement Mitigation/Capture Plan in response to them and other issues that affect the projects.
  • Lead and perform Claims Management with the support of the legal team
  • Establishing, and implementing Change Management process and update Configuration (as Bid, as Sold, as Produces, as Maintained....)
  • Lead the closure of the project including the capture of lessons learned to avoid reproducing same issues in other projects
  • Assist and support the finance department to ensure that the company’s credit control policy is applied on assigned projects at all times, highlighting any problems that may prevent payment to accounts receivables   

We are looking for someone who

  • has excellent communication skills to create a stable working environment for the core project team and other stakeholders
  • has advanced management skills: capacity to motivate and inspire the Core Project Team around a unified understanding and commitment to the project’s success
  • can establish clear and challenging objectives for the core project team to support project execution
  • is experienced at promoting and reinforcing teamwork, commitment, cooperation and delegation
  • can lead problem-solving across projects and make timely decisions based on facts, circumstances, and needs
  • has very good conflict management skills

Qualifications:

  • Engineering/Business Degree and/or similar in experience
  • A minimum 5-8 years of Project Management Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent German and English, the other languages (French or Chinese) are desired
  • PMP or equivalent is an advantage
  • International environmental working experience
