ANNAX, part of Wabtec Corporation, provides passenger information systems for long- and short distance trains, trams, and subways. ANNAX develops turnkey solutions including features like public and automatic announcements, travel information, infotainment, passenger emergency calls, video surveillance, operator and conductor control interfaces, seat reservation, passenger counting and fleet management. ANNAX has sites in Germany, Switzerland, and China, but our passenger information systems can be found all over the world.

To support our Team in Brunnthal-Munich, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer  (m/f/d)

Your responsibilites:

  • Act as a focal point between Annax and Wabtec Purchasing organization and support actively integration of Strategies
  • Support and define Commodity Strategies together with Wabtec Commodity leaders and ensure long-term implementation within Annax
  • Enhance Supplier Relationship management and achieve OTD, OTQ and cost reduction targets, negotiate price list and contract and manage RFQs.
  • Support Material Planning Team and Quality Team by acting as first escalation for supplier related issues
  • Align sourcing Strategies with the Project buyers
  • Trigger and Lead resourcing Projects from RFQ phase until delivery of first serial batch including validation of first samples
  • Develop, implement, and maintain reports, KPI's and decision-making tools
  • Monitor and analyze KPI’s to identify and report financial Risk and Opportunities for Annax
  • Participate actively on the establishment of a strong Annax Sourcing and Project Purchasing team and support actively improvement of processes & tools

Your qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering, economics or comparable professional experience
  • More than 3 years of experience in procurement in the railway sector or comparable industrial sectors (automotive, aviation, machine & Tooling, ...)
  • Goal and Result oriented
  • Negotiation experience in an international context
  • Fluent in German and English, French would be a plus.
