The Supplier Collaboration, IT Technical Project Manager reports to the Director, Supply Chain IT Programs and will plan, coordinate, and manage activities of a team of contingent workers who specialize in designing, building, testing, and deploying custom web applications.
The Supplier Collaboration, IT Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing new module creation and enhancements for the Supply Chain Connect Application and will partner IT AppX Supply Chain Teams and cross organization IT teams to build custom web applications and integrate data with downstream ERP Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders including but not limited to: Customers, Process Owners, Enterprise Architects, Application Managers, Development teams and Technical Architects. In this role, you will:
Lead and drive web application development process using Scrum Methodologies
Lead the growth and adoption of Supply Chain Connect through module expansion efforts and site onboarding
Implement pillar applications strategy to drive Supply Chain Connect as a global pillar application
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver ERP Integrated web applications via batch and REST API technologies
Own the short-term project roadmap and its integration into a larger application or strategic roadmap.
Engage continuously with customers and stakeholders to understand their business goals and motivating factors
Demonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills
Understand and follow the prescribed governance process and development methodology for application development
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Degree in business administration or a technology-related field required
5 - 7 years of experience in IT field related to program management, technical
product management, software engineering, or architecture.
Experience in Technical Product Management of IT systems
Experience managing a team of IT professionals
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of broad spectrum of IT components, good understanding of
relationships and dependencies in the areas of applications, databases, servers, and
networks.
Basic programming skills and familiarity with Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and UNIX shell scripts.
Basic knowledge of data integration methodologies
Willingness to work outside core business hours, as needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent command of Agile SDLC methodologies.
Exceptional project management skills
Physical Demands:
Employee is required to work on a computer for up to 8 hours per day
Employee may be in a sitting position for several hours per day
Employee must be able to read small text on computer screens/monitors.
Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Work Environment:
This position is one that would require the Technical Project Manager to be present in the office a few days per week as agreed to by HR and/or their manager. However, this position can also be accomplished remotely from the employee’s home some portion of their time if they have the permission of their management to do so.
This position will require the employee to maintain hours during a typical day to overlap
with team members and business users around the world with special attention to people in the time zones of India, Europe, and the https://U.S.
meet with management and team members.
