As part of its purchasing transformation, the WABTEC group is looking for a new position Sustainable Procurement Leader F/H :

As a real LEADER for the Transit business scope, your main missions will be :

· Team:

To Create and animate team and stakeholders :

• Structuring the Teamwork (MS teams, frequency, mission statement,)

• Participating in the Transit Sustainability governance

• Synchronising efforts with other functions to serve the product sustainability stewardship

• Coordinating with Corporate sourcing

• Supporting and training with pedagogy the Transit sourcing teams across the world

· Road Map:

To define & deploy the sustainable procurement vision / long term ambition & associated

Roadmap :

• Being a creative force to support ambition raising on supply chain sustainability performance, at Transit or at Wabtec level

• Developping a high-level long-term roadmap to decrease Scope 3 emissions related to Purchased goods and services that is in line with Transit customers’ needs and Wabtec sustainability strategy

• Supporting the development and the implementation of business circularity in Transit from the supply chain perspective

· To manage sustainability and supplier panel :

• Managing the roll-out of corporate supplier’s sustainability’s assessment tools across Transit suppliers)

• Ensuring the integration of Sustainability (ESG) in the supplier due diligence process (pre-audit and audit, contractual documentation, contracts, ) that is aligned with legal and customer requirements, Co-develop supplier capacity-building material on sustainability and ensure adequate communication toward suppliers through the sourcing community

• Developping and lead yearly supplier sustainability innovation programs

· To respond to the Product & Customer expectations, you will

• Integrate the sourcing sustainability requirements & best practices into the product / Project process & customer requirements

• Integrate product sustainability needs into every step of the Transit procurement process

• Roll out a tool for the automatized collection of component environmental data from suppliers regarding Product LCA / carbon footprint:

• Operationalize and follow up Transit Scope 3 emissions reduction roadmap on Category purchased

goods and services

• Continuously benchmark and proactively replicate latest market sustainability trends

• Be a champion of best practises duplication regarding sustainable procurement - Anticipate, report and ensure legal and customer compliance for sustainable procurement ·

· Regarding Networking / Communication, you will

- Be involved in external networks related to sustainable procurement

• Contribute to external sustainability communication (prepared resources for suppliers and customers, etc..) and exceptional participation in customer meeting

• Represent Wabtec (Transit) in key external networks (such as Railsponsible) & ensure alignment of Wabtec procurement practises with upcoming or established standards

· Training : In coordination with corporate, design & deploy training on Sustainable procurement to the sourcing community

Profile required :

• Graduated from a Master’s degree in finance, economics or Engineering, Sustainability or professional experience equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience within World Class and/or Demanding Discrete Industries (Automotive, Consumer Goods, Aeronautics…) ideally in transportation.
• You have also a minimum of 2 years within Sustainable procurement functions
• Your English is fluent. Another language knowledge (as German) could be a plus.
• You are experienced in Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability in procurement, with financial basic knowledge, working cross functional business team environment
• You are able to lead, consolidate datas, influence and motivate teams/stakeholers
• You have an international mind set working on overseas environment
• You have good knowledge in Excel and Power Point
• Knowledge or certification in carbon accounting (ISO 14069, GHG protocol, PAS etc…) and Knowledge or experience in company sustainability rating could be a plus
• To have analytics skills, technical and sourcing expertise is a real advantage
• You will have the occasion to travel punctually (~10/20%)
