Key missions of the position:
Knowledgeable in the related brake system domain and brake system Products.
Good knowledge on interpretation customer requirements especially on Electrical, Electronic hardware and Software.
Responsibilities
Fundamentally strong in electronics & basic electricals to understand the requirements in the technical specification and provide response
Preparation of various system level documents like Pneumatic scheme, Part list, Electrical scheme, System Technical description, and various other technical documents in coordination with other Sites and transfer of the technical documents prepared during tender phase to the project team.
Providing Brake system engineering solution for Mass transit & Loco segment
Knowledge on various ICE, EN, UIC standards related to Brake system, validation requirements for Electronics hardware, communication network such as MVB, Ethernet, Echelon and Software Safety Integrity Levels is highly desirable.
Technical links to car builders/operators through periodical meetings and technical promotion of our system solutions and ensure that all the technical requirements and demands by the Customer are covered by the defined Engineering scope, with identification and assessment of the associated risks
On need basis need to travel to Customer’s place to make a presentation and to get involved in Train inspection and product installation studies.
Exposure in the areas of RAMS, RoHS, Project management techniques / tools such as APQP, ISO, EMS, OHSAS and IRIS is an advantage
Knowledge Expertise in processes like Soldering, Coating, Wiring and Crimping
Knowledge Expertise in Environmental and climatic adaptation of Electronic products.
Exposure to train installation, commissioning and testing will be an added advantage
People Management: No

Education/Training : Graduate / Postgraduate in Electrical / Electronics / Communication / or equivalent
Professional Experience : Min 10+
