Manager, University Relations & Early Talent - Pharmacy & Retail

Job Summary:Plays a key role in positioning Walgreens as an employer of choice by leading a best in class campus recruiting program for entry level talent across the Field. Serves as a trusted advisor and partner to leaders across the organization to understand hiring needs, identifies diverse sources of talent and is a subject matter expert on matters related to college relations. Manages and owns relationships with vendors and national partners to enhance enterprise sourcing strategies, including event management. Provides and analyzes data, metrics and reports to discover trends, campus ROI, diversity and post-program impact to enhance business outcomes.Job Responsibilities:Leads the Field Campus Recruiting Strategies by creating and updating campus resources and tools (such as Webinars, Campus Team Training Manuals, Toolkits, Campus Presentations, Event Management Tool, etc.).Leads campus recruiting projects related to the development and implementation of strategies through data analysis, report generation, project tracking and communication. Drafts reports that include schedules, tasks, deliverables, and budget, while keeping all stakeholders informed.Works closely with TA leadership and Campus Recruiter(s) to understand business need and relevant program application, and influence HR leaders to adopt a strategic enterprise approach for attracting, retaining and developing early talent.Responsible and involved in program enhancements, strategy solutioning and change management; including the development of virtual recruitment strategies and explore/evaluate additional technology to support effortsWorks closely with the business to create diversity focused campus recruitment and marketing strategiesPartner with Talent Brand to create fun and exciting marketing content and materials which captures the unique culture and promotes current and future opportunities.Liaises with HR Shared Services (HRSS) to resolve issues that relate to campus recruitment and to update recruiting-related content on various webpages (e.g. MyHR, Storenet, etc.).Partners with HRSS to design all campus recruitment related processes (ex: Event Registration Process, and On Campus Interview Process).Acts as the subject-matter-expert for the talent acquisition (TA)/customer relationship management (CRM) and event management software for Campus Recruiting. Ensures business groups are upskilled on how to use TA/CRM software.Responsible for creating and updating new forms within TA systems for Campus Recruiting.Collaborates with Career Development to create the summer internship program framework including execution, for undergraduate level interns, in addition to setting the programming agenda, securing keynote speakers, planning special events, presentation days and other similar functions.Creates, owns and maintains the corporate internship activity calendar, attends/facilitates all corporate internship events. Works closely with the TA leaders and Campus Recruiter(s) to create diversity focused college marketing/recruitment campaigns.Owns the communication and education to field managers to guide them through effective delivery of a high quality and consistent intern experience, including onboarding, project creation, performance and development.Responsible for supporting field managers with sourcing intern candidatesWorks with leaders and managers to contribute to the creation and execution of new internship programs.Evaluates return on investment, overall effectiveness and success of recruiting plans, diversity, summer program impact through analysis of hiring stats, school and partnership data, demographics and school and conversion data; sharing trends and insights across the organization to business leaders.Provides overall management and leadership for team members. Acquires, engages and develops high performing talent and leads by example. Prioritizes work assignments and project plans for team. Makes decisions based on performance; provides effective coaching and feedback. Develops team members through orientation, training, establishing objectives, communication of rules, and constructive discipline.
