Responsible for leading the Content Operations team on projects and performing as the Department point person for questions and training of less experienced team members. Supports the Digital Marketing and Merchandising efforts through the production of on-line content, site pages, promotional banner placement, and promotion codes. Job ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Design, Copy, SEO, Engineering, and other functional teams. Creates new or updates existing promotional pages and integrated site placements through the use of a browser-based web content management application. Creates promotional codes using management platform.Turns creative designs/layouts into a finished product, utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and XML as needed, adhering to tight deadlines, specific guidelines and styles, and website accessibility standards, with minimum supervision.Coordinates with internal teams to create business requirements for website page updates, additions or enhancements; leveraging past experience and continuous learning of online user experience best practices.Provides immediate day-to-day support of page/promo production-related requests in a timely manner. Performs project scheduling and troubleshoots a variety of issues relating to content production and execution. Provide off-hour Content Operations support for releases and emergency fixes for shared support across the team.Manages a queue of work for both manual and automated processes from pre-production to live site. Provides page production, editing and maintenance support for internal website prototyping environment.Performs quality assurance, cross-browser, and breakpoint validation for projects.Converts/optimizes external content sources, such as HTML, MS Word, Text, graphics, etc. as needed to comply with internal standards.Leads Content Operations team on project items. Coaches, mentors and trains less experienced team members in order to assist in increasing the competency level of the team.
