Are you a creative mind with a passion for marketing? Do you have strong leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to conceptualize our brand promise Expect Something Special? If so, this is your opportunity to bring your innovation and drive into the workplace as a 2021 Walmart Intern! We are looking for bold and passionate interns to work with our Marketing team that help to identify and develop approaches that lead with humanity and shift Walmart's engagement marketing from transactional while supporting omni-channel membership growth.
During the 10-week internship, participants will have:
- Direct access to leadership
- Executive-led speaker sessions
- Community outreach events
- Networking and social events
- Compensation and housing assistance provided
- Possible internship placements include graphic design, social creative, and video creation and more
- Previous marketing internship experience and/or closely related course work required
A successful Marketing Manager Intern will have:
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
- Possess the ability to work in an everchanging and fast paced environment
- Demonstrate being a creative self-starter with strong strategy development and planning skills
- Have strong organizational skills with a particular emphasis on being detail oriented
- Demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking skills through data driven approaches
- Be able to analyze a problem, take a stance and propose a solution
- Uphold all values of the Walmart culture
Minimum Qualifications
- 3.0 GPA or above from one of our target campuses, with demonstrable leadership and data & analytics experience
- Ideal candidate should demonstrate passion towards Marketing as well as exhibit the required competencies.

- Customer/Member Service
- Relevant business and/or Omni experience Previous Internship or experience in Marketing
