What you'll do...

Want to change the face of digital advertising? Want to re-imagine how the world's largest omni-channel consumer database can be used to power targeted ad campaigns for the largest brands in the world? We are rethinking digital advertising here at Walmart and are looking for some great people to help make this happen.

Available Roles in Walmart Connect include:

OPERATIONS:

Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams across the organization to investigate and recommend solutions to partner questions and issues. 

 
Continuous Improvement and Support Strategy: Performs in-depth ongoing analysis of partner operations to track performance, identify inefficiencies and inform product and tools roadmap; Determines areas of improvement for partner operations and related tools and systems; Identifies and analyzes trends to identify root cause of medium to high complexity issues; Develops recommendations for solutions and proposes implementation plans for proposed solutions. 

 
Partner Support and Resolution: Provides second level and/or executive escalation support by collaborating with both internal and external partners to identify issue root causes, determine solutions and ensure issue resolution for medium to high complexity issues.

 
 
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. 
 

SALES:

Marketing Strategy: Uses a variety of elements (storyboards, presentation decks) to develop product stories that support brands and key marketing initiatives for the category; Understands category marketing strategy and how all products within the category connect to it; Provides recommendations to site merchandisers and category managers based on marketing expertise and performance in the category; Recommends affiliate coupons and promotions for the category. 

 
Research and Analysis: Performs complex marketing analysis of category KPIs, including brand and category deep dives, analysis of ad hoc initiatives or tests, keyword research, search query analysis, email marketing analysis and recurring sales reports; Analyzes a broad range of affiliate sites to understand affiliate landscape and determine category competitiveness to make recommendations to category and site merchandising managers; Makes recommendations to core analytics, marketing, category and site merchandising teams based on research and analytics. 

 
Campaign Implementation and Management: Implements marketing campaigns for a category; Manages digital marketing channels for a category, including email marketing programs, Paid Search, PLA, Affiliate and Paid Social; Manages affiliate programs, including reconciling order inquiries, implementing banners, updating links, pulling reports and creating coupon codes for a category. 

 
Collaboration: Collaborates with Marketing Managers and cross-functional teams across the organization (e.g., Inventory Management, Planning, Site Merchandising, Customer Service, Analytics) to develop and implement marketing programs for the category; Works with creative, copy and other internal/external resources to develop content for paid campaigns for a category. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3.0 GPA or above from one of our target campuses, with demonstrable leadership and data & analytics experience
  • Ideal candidate should demonstrate passion towards Marketing as well as exhibit the required competencies.
