What you'll do at
Conducts competitive intelligence research related to recruitment and staffing by developing competitor opportunity lists and organizational charts; building a knowledge base that will live and change as organizations change; identifying functional skills in competitor organizations; and mapping competitor positions to positions within Walmart. Generates a pool of pre-qualified, available and interested candidates by developing and utilizing techniques to find candidates; conducting phone screens for pre-qualified candidates and ensuring their level of interest in the opportunity; and building a network of contacts for the functional area being supported. Monitors the effectiveness of recruitment programs by analyzing and communicating hiring results; collecting feedback and implementing initiatives to improve program effectiveness; analyzing client and candidate satisfaction rates; and researching and benchmarking industry best practices to refine program strategies. Identifies niche sourcing events by partnering with the business unit to maximize the utility of participation in the event; and developing strategies for attending and finding talent at these events. Builds partnerships between recruiting and business units by gaining an understanding of and becoming the subject-matter-expert for that functional area; and training and educating divisional recruiters and business units in that functional area. Provides sourcing training by organizing training/brown bag sessions to train other groups on sourcing techniques and to refresh base line techniques; and developing a training framework to deliver content to business partners. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
