Position: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 8461 154th Ave NE Building G Suite 110 Redmond, WA 98052
Duties: Designs, develops and deploys REST API's Web services to handle high volume of data. Develops high level architectural design and detailed functional design for the software development of new application and adds feature to exiting application. Troubleshoots and fixes production defects, bugs, issues in real time environment. Utilizes technologies such as SQL and NoSQL: Elastic Search, Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Oracle, Redis to build high scalable and low latency system. Defines System requirements or modifications in collaboration with teams’ members, product team, business user and end user. Works with algorithm, data structure, distributed and cloud platform to develop efficient and reliable production system.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
Skills required: Experience in designing, developing and deploying REST API's Web services. Experience in designing and developing highly scalable platform to handle traffic volume. Experience in designing and developing micro and web services using Spring framework, REST and SOAP. Experience in troubleshooting and fixing production defects in real time environment. Experience in developing high level architectural design and detailed functional design for the software development of new application and new features. Experience working with algorithm, data structure and Object-oriented programming language Java. Experience working with Multi-threaded and distributed Systems. Experience utilizing the following technologies: Elastic Search, Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Oracle, and Redis. Experience working on Cloud services platform AWS. Experience defining System requirements or modifications in collaboration with teams’ members, business user and end user. Experience in participating in design and code review proactively to identify risks.
