You’ll make an impact by…
Designing, and developing software systems and services in one or more languages, such as Python, Go, Java, C++ or similar.
Designing, building, and deploying cloud-based scalable architectures.
Automating infrastructure provisioning and/or software delivery process.
Implementing professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, deployment, testing, and operations.
Collaborating with other teams at Walmart to integrate, automate, and improve cloud infrastructure and tooling.
Utilizing industry research to improve Wal-Mart's technology environment by analyzing industry best practices.
Troubleshooting business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation.
