What you'll do...
As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Walmart Health policies and procedures. This will include, but not be limited to responsibility for credentialing new and established health care providers, and maintenance of information to include primary source verification, follow up, data collection, data entry, and document review. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are required. Will be expected to assist the Managers with other tasks/projects as requested. This is a temporary role with assignment to last up to 6 months or longer. This is a great opportunity for you to get your foot in the door with the largest retailer in the world!

Process and maintain credentialing and re-credentialing in accordance with Walmart Health policy and procedure, NCQA standards, State and Federal Regulatory regulations.
Assisting in the credentialing process by reviewing/monitoring/evaluating information in the credentialing system for initial, recredentialing and ongoing monitoring of credentials and reporting processes
Prepare for and support credentialing committees by preparing packets, gathering additional follow up information as requested by the committee, preparing minutes and finalizing reports to the Board.
Strongly preferred....
Demonstrated working knowledge of the health care and credentialing industry, including medical-legal issues and laws, regulatory agencies, and other national standards preferred - strong knowledge of Medicare and NCQA standards.
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist- CPSC
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong computer skills (analytics, database and spreadsheet reporting)
