Position Summary...

What you'll do...

You'll make an impact through the following job functions:

• Forecasting - Develop and improve detailed forecasting frameworks to guide decision making and daily operations. Communicate, collaborate and align with various internal and external teams to improve the frameworks

• Prescriptive Data Analytics: Perform in-depth and detailed data analytics on large, complex, disparate datasets to investigate business problems, distill the complex analytics into easily understandable data visualizations to facilitate critical decision making and prescribe/recommend optimal actions

• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve processes by utilizing the best practices in data analytics and standardizing the data inputs, processing, validation and visualization

• Cross Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationship with various teams and cross functional partners by constant-effective communication, understanding their business problems and requirements in detail and recommending/implementing optimal solutions

• Modeling: Develop and improve existing models. Continuously improve the modeling frameworks by mirroring the real world through assumptions and approximations but balance the speed to solution as well

• You understand transportation or supply chain, whether in Retail ecommerce environment or similar industries

• You are a problem solver and creative thinker: you think about finding the best solution that will work in days, instead of the perfect one that requires weeks.

• You learn and adapt quickly, and are excellent at working on multiple cross-functional projects concurrently

• You have excellent general modeling and data processing skills.

• You are customer-centric in spirit and in execution.

• You work well with ambiguity

• You have strong technical skills in data analytics and visualization- SQL, advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI etc.; Preferred- Knowledge and skills in any programming languages to automate data analysis
