Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are looking for a passionate, creative Data Scientist to join Manufacturing Data Science team. You will be responsible to use cutting-edge data mining, machine learning and optimization techniques to design and prototype robust analytics solutions. You will be a part of a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Engineers, Product managers, Software engineers and Business professionals that sit at the intersection of Data Analytics, Data Science, Big data, IT infrastructure, and business operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Be a strategic team member to the product development teams, sharing insights and providing recommendations through effective communication and storytelling with data.
• Build data visualizations and interactive dashboards for monitoring and sharing business insights internally and externally.
• Design, build and implement predictive and optimization models.
• Design, analyze, and run both simulated and live experiments to drive KPI improvements.
• Deploy models into production with ML Ops process.
• Interested in researching about new methods, tools, and techniques to address complex business problems.
• Built, scale and deploy machine learning models in production frameworks Skills required: Technical expertise in data mining (R/Python/PySpark/SQL), machine learning, and statistical analysis.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience using data visualization (Tableau and Matplotlib) to derive powerful insights.
• Experience using machine learning and deep learning libraries on Python including sklearn.
• Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, or Spark).
• Combine Machine learning and Optimization methods to solve business problems
• Good knowledge on deploying models into production using Azure or GCP cloud stack
• Knowledge on Manufacturing & retail processes is a plus.

Option 1: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in an analytics or related field. Option 2: Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Option 3: 4 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate.
