The Walmart design team creates experiences and designs the websites, tools, and mobile solutions for 1.3 million Walmart associates and 150 million weekly customers who rely on us to help them save money and live better.

What does the team do exactly?...

The Health & Wellness team builds products to care for millions of customers & patients at one of their deepest needs––personal health. You’ll leverage the best and latest tools to facilitate remote teams and work with teams who develop experiences that have changed the industry including the mobile app, online grocery experience, curbside, or Delivery Unlimited. Innovating on the world’s biggest stage, you’ll get to deliver customer-centric solutions before they walk in the door, after they purchase, and every step in between. This is that place.

We'll provide opportunity to…

• Set the vision for a new customer experience at checkout and self-service capabilities across our 4700+ stores.

• Create user experience solutions across a small- to medium-sized portfolio of projects by translating needs into actions and roadmaps.

•Design user experience frameworks, process flows, site maps, wireframes, and prototypes to meet our goals while balancing resources, constraints, requirements and complexity.

•Use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to lead partner teams, facilitate conversations, determine methodologies, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to use the collective creativity.

•Set and run user experience design consistency in collaboration with Engineering Architects by defining project needs and measures of success.

Along your way, you'll report to the Director of Design.

Qualifications

•Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and 5 or more years of experience in product design.

• A portfolio of elegant design solutions.

• As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate.
